How switching works
- Try the demo
Ask the demo garden business for regular maintenance as a customer. The form asks for the garden size in m², the way yours will ask for the floor area. It's all sample data.
- Copy the template
Copy it from the Caffeine App Market into your own Caffeine account. You can do it without ever contacting us.
- Make it a cleaning business
Services and prices go in the admin, photos and texts in the Caffeine chat, as the steps below show. Hosting is paid to Caffeine from your own account: see the Host plan options and pricing.
From garden to cleaning business
Most of it happens in the admin, with no code. Work through it in this order.
- Your business
Under Settings: business name, contact details, currency, language, and Cleaning services as the business type.
- Your services
Replace the garden services with yours, like regular home cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning, office cleaning and windows, each with a ‘from’ price.
- The questions
For each service, ask what sets the price: floor area in m², rooms and bathrooms, and yes or no for the oven, the fridge or the windows.
- The quote template
Size bands as alternatives (up to 60 m², up to 100 m², larger), with oven, fridge, ironing, windows or carpets as extras to tick.
- Your price book
Hourly rate, call-out, travel and cleaning supplies, plus a discount for regular customers.
- Delete the demo
Settings → Demo data → Remove demo data deletes the sample jobs and customers. Your services and prices stay.
Then change the look with Caffeine
The photos and a few website texts belong to the design. Open your copy in Caffeine and ask for the change in the chat, with your photos attached:
Questions
Can customers say how often?
Yes. Add a choice question such as weekly, every two weeks or monthly, like the demo's garden maintenance form.
Can I price by floor area?
Yes. Ask for the area in m² and enter it as the quantity of a quote line, or offer size bands as alternatives.
Can my cleaners sign in?
Yes. Every cleaner gets their own access, and the schedule shows each person's week and a list of jobs that still need a date.
What does it cost to run?
Copying is free. Caffeine bills the hosting to your own account, with the current Host plan options and pricing on its site. There's no fee per enquiry or per cleaner. Changes you ask for in the Caffeine chat use credits from your Caffeine plan; attaching photos doesn't.
Do I need to code?
No. Services, questions and prices are settings in the admin. You change photos and website texts by describing the change in the Caffeine chat.
